In addition to GP consultations the practice offers a wide range of clinics and healthcare services:

Chronic Illness Management

The nurse runs regular clinics for patients with the following conditions:

• Asthma/COPD
• Diabetes
• Coronary Heart Disease
• Hypertension

Other Services

• Blood Pressure Checks
• Blood Tests
• Maternity Services – in conjunction with the community midwives.
• Minor Skin Problems
• Removal of Sutures
• Dressings
• Wound Infections
• Well Woman Checks

Non-NHS Services

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

• Medicals for pre-employment and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
• Insurance claim forms
• Private sick notes
• Vaccination certificates
• Reports for Life Assurance/ Income Protection

Please note Lodge Health do NOT perform the following:

• Capacity or Power of Attorney assessments
• Diving medicals

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.
